~*~Time to get...~*~
back on track. Back in November I started losing weight.. and lost 15 pounds. I still have more to go. However in December I got slammed with sinus infection, bronchitis and something with my throat (it swollen up really bad). I thought it would take me 2 weeks to get better with antibotics but my throat was still swollen after I finished all antibotics so I had to take steriods to help reducing swelling. Then I got better in late January (yes it took that long!). Then couple weeks later (in February) I got sick again with inner ear infection (there is a long word for it but I forgot how to spell it) with severe vertigo. So yeah I fell off. I have decided it is time to get back on track. Start execrising, drink more water (that is what I have trouble for so long time since I'm addicted to caffeine), cut down on sugars, go to bed early and CUT DOWN on stress. I need to learn to eat veggies. That is other trouble I have. I'm okay with corn and potatoes, that is it. I learned to like lettuce couple months ago but I haven't eat that for awhile because I'm not used to it though. I'm really nervous because I gag around veggies but I know if I don't get enough veggies, there is no way that I can live healthier and lose more weight. I usually joke when people said I need to eat veggies, I would say only if it is covered in sugar then I will eat it lol. They didn't like that but it is only a joke.
One thing that bother me is that ... when I looked up weight chart for my height... it said between 104 and 127??? That just sound ... too pencil skinny for me? My goal weight is 135 or maybe 130 but that is it. I cannot imagine being 104 at all... not with curves I have.
I have been researching on the "stress hormone" cortisol ... it is so interesting because all factors does fit. I'm always stressed and my fat is in my midsection that is it. If you look at me from behind you wouldn't know that I have extra pounds lol since it is all in my stomach. That is why I need to learn to tune down my stress levels to bring the cortisol level down.Friday, April 4, 2008
